How to take Genacol® PDF Print E-mail

If you drink about 1.5 litres of water per day (note that this quantity is recommended for good health and not only for taking Genacol®), you can begin with 3 capsules per day at bedtime. If you are not used to drinking this minimum amount of water, start with 1 capsule per day for the first week, increase the amount of water you drink, and then go on to the recommended dosage.



We suggest taking Genacol® for 3 to 6 months, beginning with 3 capsules per day, and then, progressively move to the dosage that best suits you. In cases of degenerative diseases, to maintain the beneficial effects and avoid recurring problems of pain and discomfort, it is suggested to take Genacol® on a permanent basis.

To optimize the results

After a few weeks of treatment and in order to optimize the results, you can double the dose to 6 capsules per day, i.e., 3 at bedtime and 3 before breakfast.


Collagen products are generally recognized as safe. Still, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, the information currently available is insufficient regarding the safe use of collagen. According to Health Canada, the manufacturers of natural products are not authorized to pronounce themselves on the subject. We, therefore, recommend that you get a medical opinion.


For people taking medication, it would be preferable to leave a 2-hour period between Genacol® and any medication.
